Sunday, August 19, 2007 How hard is it for guys to realize that if they don't understand where I am coming from, then they aren't for me? I get so tired of having to explain myself a million times, going through the same song and dance of trying to get someone to understand only to become exhausted with breaking down simple concepts that are natural for me, but greek to him. Women are from Venus. Men are from Mars. But I seem to be from Jupiter.

Another year older today, eager to see what the next 365 days bring! I'm 28 and having a good time. I love my family, I love my friends, I'm crazy about my clients, and I have a fun job. All in all, not bad :)
Friday, August 03, 2007 Doing some research on the net lead me to reading about an amazing woman born in 1906 who lived until 1975. Her name is Josephine Baker. :) For many people, Josephine Baker's name will always evoke a familiar, controversial image: the "black Venus" naked on stage, except for a string of bananas around her waist, dancing to African drums before her white Parisian audiences. It was this image that first made Baker a star, one whose international fame lasted for five decades. When she died, twenty thousand people came to her Paris funeral in mourning.
Occupation: African American expatriate dancer, singer, and entertainer. And spy. Quick Facts: * Adopted 11 children of different races, religions, and nationalities.
