Saturday, June 09, 2007 Dear Diary, I just got home from spending the day with pixie, her Sir, and her sons. We had so much fun, not really doing anything, just spending time talking and hanging out. I’m hoping to get over in the morning, if work allows, before they head off. Nine hours wasn’t enough. Then again, I don’t know if there will ever be “enough” time with my best friend. I didn’t realize how much I missed her, until we hugged. Get ya’lls mind out of the gutter ~ we are more like sisters than friends. Pixie, Grace, and LadyJ, the three friends who mean the absolute world to me, who I thank God everyday for sending to me. "In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." ~ Albert Schweitzer This quote always makes me think of pixie. Something about spending time with her is rejuvenating. Also, our friendship reassures me that I’m not just crazy and in search of the impossible.
