Daily Overview for June 16, 2007
Provided by Astrology.com

Quickie:
If you think being modest about your accomplishments gets you noticed, think again.

Overview:
Your charisma makes you the center of attention, and puts you in the middle of some fantastic social events. A dear friend or loved one may get jealous if they feel that all your time is being occupied by other matters.

Normally I like to read horoscopes for fun, but this one is very true today. Grace, my sister, is very upset with me because I was exhausted today and needed to stay home and rest instead of going swimming with her. I didn't mean to upset her, but she was very angry with my decision. She was jealous of the time my job is requiring right now... and possibly the time I had spent with pixie last weekend. The worst part is, I always thought she knew me and my job the best... I never meant to hurt her.

Daily Love for June 16, 2007

Daily Flirt:
Is there someone you find it hard to be around, thanks to your pounding heart and rubbery legs? Right now, you've got the power to speak clearly to them without worrying about passing out.

Daily Couples:
It's time to step it up a notch. Take creative action, especially when it comes to past issues. Your sweetheart will be amazed (and possibly inspired) at all the activity you generate with your initiative.

Daily Singles:
Skip those who are interested in surface images and find those certain someones who can match your depth-of-field now. Turning the conversation toward something meaningful shows their true colors in instamatic fashion.

Hmm... my horoscopes the last week have always spoke of that one that makes my heart race. So... No comment.

Dear Diary,

This weekend was amazing, I have missed pixie so much and will always treasure this time we were able to spend together.

my views on certain things were altered a bit this weekend, and its left me with a feeling that... things may never be the same.

Dear Diary,

I just got home from spending the day with pixie, her Sir, and her sons. We had so much fun, not really doing anything, just spending time talking and hanging out. I’m hoping to get over in the morning, if work allows, before they head off.

Nine hours wasn’t enough. Then again, I don’t know if there will ever be “enough” time with my best friend. I didn’t realize how much I missed her, until we hugged. Get ya’lls mind out of the gutter ~ we are more like sisters than friends. Pixie, Grace, and LadyJ, the three friends who mean the absolute world to me, who I thank God everyday for sending to me.

"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." ~ Albert Schweitzer

This quote always makes me think of pixie. Something about spending time with her is rejuvenating. Also, our friendship reassures me that I’m not just crazy and in search of the impossible.

Saying all of this to say, I had an amazing Saturday with pixie and wanted to let her know I love her very much :)

I do have my periods of thinking this way, although I try not to make a decision "just for tonight".

Settlin'
Sung by: Sugarland

Fifteen minutes left to throw me together
For Mr. Right Now, not Mr. Forever
Don't know why I even try when I know how it ends
Lookin' like another, "Maybe we can be friends."
I've been leaving it up to fate
It's my life so it's mine to make

Chorus:
I ain't settlin'
For just getting by
I've had enough so-so
For the rest of my life
Tired of shooting too low
So raise the bar high
"Just enough," ain't enough this time
I ain't settlin' for anything less than everything

With some good red wine
And my brand new shoes
Gonna dance a blue streak around my living room
Take a chance on love, and try how it feels
With my heart wide open
Yeah, you know I will
Find what it means to be the girl
Who changed her mind
And changed the world

Repeat chorus

I ain't settlin'
For just getting by
I've had enough so-so
For the rest of my life
Tired of shooting too low
So raise the bar high
"Just enough," ain't enough this time

I ain't settlin'
For just getting by
I've had enough so-so
For the rest of my life
Tired of shooting too low
So raise the bar high

I ain't settlin'
No, no, no, no, no, no
So raise the bar high, high

Another movie that I really enjoy, and often use it as my sleep-movie! Not many people have heard of 'The 10th Kingdom' and even less have seen it. But trust me, it is definitely worth the rental!

Do you believe in magic?

Something magical is about to happen...

A young woman named Virginia (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) and her father, Tony (John Larroquette) are lured into a land where fairy tales are real! But the adventure is only beginning for the longer they stay in fairy tale land the more their lives become one.

Two centuries after Snow White and Cinderella had their adventures, the Nine Kingdoms ready themselves for the coronation of Prince Wendel, Snow White's grandson, to the throne of the Fourth Kingdom. But an evil once-queen has freed herself from prison, and turns the prince into a golden retriever. Wendel, by means of a magic mirror, escapes into a hitherto-unknown Tenth Kingdom (modern day New York City) and meets Virginia and her father Tony. Pursued by trolls, cops, and a wolf in man's form, the three blunder back into the Nine Kingdoms and begin their adventures to restore Wendel to his human form and throne, and find the magic mirror that will take Tony and Virginia back home, all the while unknowing that Virginia already has a connection to the Nine Kingdoms that may prove deadly before we reach Happily Ever After.

When you live each day with
all of your heart,
then you can
be happy ever after..
Even if its only for a short time.
